In our mission statement we seek “Unity in communities.” To this end, we support several small groups that support the mission and life of the Parish. These groups give our Parishioners the opportunity to develop relationships for support, ongoing faith formation, missionary outreach all while serving their Parish community.

The Assumption Council of Catholic Women (ACCW) sponsors several activities throughout the year, including a yearly Bazaar in November, Mass, days of recollection, craft and bake sales. Some of these women assist on a regular basis with funeral lunches. Help in serving the grieving families a meal after the funeral Mass is always appreciated.

Be the Voice of Catholic Women

When you join the National Council of Catholic Women, you are part of a national organization that speaks for you and supports, empowers and educates all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service.

An ACTS retreat is a Catholic lay retreat presented by fellow parishioners.  Talks and activities during the retreat focus on Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service.  Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are the guides for the retreats.

The retreat takes on the traditions and atmosphere of the parish community sponsoring it.  The retreat facilitates the attainment of a new or deeper relationship with the Lord through:  Adoration – the call by, acceptance of, and response to God; Community – the love and caring of each other; Theology – the study of God through scripture and the Catholic Faith; Service – to God and his people.

Catholic Watchmen

Calling Men to be Protectors, Providers and Leaders of their Parishes and Families.

What does it mean to be a Catholic man? How does a man protect, provide for and lead his parish and family? The Catholic Watchmen is a call to battle for all Catholic men.

Will you answer the call?

We meet on the first Monday of the month. Adoration, prayer, reflection and a fraternal dinner. 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the church chapel.
